Life Course what is it? The Life Course is a series of evenings where we look at the question:  What does our best life look and feel like? If you’ve ever thought is there more to life than this? If you’re curious about life and spirituality or are looking for fellow freethinkers, the Life Course is for you. how does it work? Each week begins with a meal before hearing a short talk. The talk helps to spark ideas and conversations that follow in smaller discussion groups of like-minded people. It’s non-judgmental. It’s not about forcing you into some set of beliefs. Every Wednesday, in term time, we are running a weekly exercise class called ‘Psalms & Stretches’ which is run by its founder, Ruth Carpenter.  Ruth is a qualified Pilates and fitness instructor with nearly 15 years of experience teaching a variety of different group exercise classes.  ‘Psalms and Stretches’ is a gentle exercise class combining movement with meditation on the Bible, from the Psalms. Bread Making Class at Brixton Windmill

Saturday 28 February 10.30am to 1.30pm £70 per person www.brixtonwindmill.org BOOK HERE Celebrate Real Bread Week at Brixton Windmill! Join our hands-on baking class to learn how to make delicious artisan breads. It’s a chance to hone your home bread making skills using our unique stoneground flour from Brixton Windmill.  The class is for a small group with a maximum of 10 participants so you’ll get lots of tips from our teacher Fabio Bettini.  Plus there’s lots of time to ask questions. There’ll also be a chance to pop in to the windmill to see how our volunteer millers make our flour*. This class is suitable for anyone, regardless of age or baking experience (although a little home baking experience might be helpful). All the recipes will be fully explained step by step by our session leader. Refreshments are included during the class.  You may want to bring an apron plus a container/bag to take away your bakes. *Milling does depend on a number of factors so we cannot absolutely guarantee you’ll see our millers at work but we’ll do our best to make this happen.
