Join us for an introductory session on the fascinating world of fungi, mycelium networks and the ‘wood wide web’ with community organiser, fungi enthusiast and writer, Maymana Arefin, aka @fungi.futures. Join local writer, poet and experienced creative writing tutor, Tracey Hammett, to explore your writing, generate new ideas, find inspiration and meet new people in this two hour Creative Writing workshop for adults. The talk helps to spark ideas and conversations that follow in smaller discussion groups of like-minded people. It’s non-judgmental. It’s not about forcing you into some set of beliefs. Every Wednesday, in term time, we are running a weekly exercise class called ‘Psalms & Stretches’ which is run by its founder, Ruth Carpenter. Ruth is a qualified Pilates and fitness instructor with nearly 15 years of experience teaching a variety of different group exercise classes. ‘Psalms and Stretches’ is a gentle exercise class combining movement with meditation on the Bible, from the Psalms.
