The leafy street of Josephine Avenue is set to transform into an open-air gallery this summer as Urban Art 2024 returns on the 13th and 14th of July. Celebrating its 22nd year, this much-anticipated event will showcase a diverse array of artistic talent, featuring works from painters, photographers, printmakers, and mixed media artists. Open 10am to 6pm both days. Free entry.
With over a 120 artists hanging their work and thousands of pieces for sale, Urban Art 2024 promises to be an unforgettable weekend filled with creativity, community spirit, and charitable giving. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to explore and purchase original artworks displayed along the railings of Josephine Avenue.

About L'Arche Our Community includes over 30 people with learning disabilities, who we support at home and in our workshops. Alongside them are our faithful community members, volunteers, friends, and neighbours, all of whom play an integral role in fostering a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Additionally, our team of dedicated L’Arche assistants adds further support and care to our core members. We also have a wide-ranging programme of day activities, which is open to people with disabilities living in or outside L’Arche. We work with individuals to develop daily living skills, we make space for creativity and fun and we are passionate about helping people to reach their goals. The hubs for our activities programme is our two amazing workshops. Our large community garden workshop is where we support people to harvest and grow fruit, vegetables and flowers.
