All welcome for an evening of Christmas Carol Singing followed by mulled wine and mince pies other festive food and drink. Our band will lead us in our Carol Singing as we journey through the Christmas Story together. We will also hear a short Christmas talk. All singing abilities welcome! If you prefer a traditional carol service we will be having one of them the following Sunday 17th December 5pm at St Paul's. Singing Mamas is all about taking care of the women who spend so much time being busy taking care of others. It's all about making YOU feel good. There are no auditions, no solos, no reading music. Just simple songs taught by ear, with the aim to reduce stress, connect with others, build community, and improve wellbeing. Oh, and there's always tea and cake, too. No prior musical experience is needed - we sing for connection, not for perfection! Mums, grandmas, bumps, babies, older children, and women without kids are all welcome. We meet at the Coffee Lounge in Herne Hill Baptist Church on Half Moon Lane every Thursday from 10-11.30am. If for some reason you can't make that session, we also have groups on Tuesdays in Streatham Vale in the Vestry room adjoining the Holy Redeemer Church, also at 10-1130am. We strongly believe that everyone should have access to the benefits of singing, so please get in touch if you feel there are barriers to joining the group (inc financial) so we can help find a solution.

The Psoas: Seat of the Soul For tension to be released in the tissues of the body, first, it needs to be activated. Gaze into this visual above - how does this make you feel, and importantly, what does it awaken in you? Weakness in this deep seated muscle, the deepest in the body - the psoas major, can create postural unpleasantness, low back irritations, breathing issues and a lack of confidence.
