Join WWF's global 'lights-out' under the magnificent backlit East Window of St Giles Church, designed by famous South London resident and pioneering environmental campaigner, John Ruskin. Share Ruskin’s love of nature and the Alps through a gorgeous programme of music by Mahler and Richard Strauss, who also took inspiration from the mountains. The concert will be interwoven with insights from Ruskin's works given by Andrew Hill, Financial Times journalist and author of 'Ruskinland: How John Ruskin Shapes Our World'. Throwing on a batt: A one-day intermediate level weekend workshop led by Birgit Pohl Learn how to attach a wooden batt to the wheel head. Practice a variety of flatware shapes on the batt. Immerse yourself in throwing on the wheel for a full day! You can choose up to three pots which will be trimmed, glazed and fired for you. Please note  This intermediate level course will not cover centring or pulling up. Participants must be able to centre 1kg of clay before signing up to the course.
