    Get creative in this session to decorate your own glass tea-light holder.  You’ll be able to keep your creation to use as the evenings get longer, or you can gift it to a loved one. Who is it for? For families aged 4+, no experience necessary.  All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the session.     Ready, Set, DRAMA: Spooky Stories

    Be inspired by spooky stories in this fun and interactive drama workshop for children and their families. ​ Together, we will learn acting techniques through energizing body warmups, expressive dances and exciting games in a welcoming and inclusive environment. We will use props, improvisation, collaboration and our imaginations to explore the theme of Halloween! The structure of the day is as follows: Welcome Icebreaker activities Body, Face, Voice Warm Ups Imagination Warm Ups Group improvisation These workshops are designed for children aged 4 – 11 and their grown-ups. All under 18s must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult throughout the workshop, and we encourage everyone to take part together. Our Ready, Set Drama series is led by adults with learning disabilities and drama facilitators from L’Arche and SLT. With thanks to the Beckenham Theatre Trust for their funding towards this venture.     Christmas Crafting: Botanical Candles

    Event Summary During this relaxed and friendly class, you will learn the art of candle-making using UK sourced paraffin wax and how to make pillar candle with botanical elements, e.g. dry flowers or spices. By the end of the taster session you will know the basics of making pillar candles and take home one candle decorated by using dry flowers or herbs. Please note: Your candles may not have set by the end of the session and so you might need to collect them at a later date.  Or we can arrange to have them delivered to you for an additional fee on the night.     Christmas Party at the Lido

    Brockfest Photo Gallery

    Temporary photo exhibition about Brockfest - a free community youth music festival held at Brockwell Hall in September featuring 121 artists from a local youth open mic. All photos by student live music photographers. Opening day only (10-5pm, 30th Nov) features elements of the bespoke speaker array used in the festival. Live performances from singer songwriters (and Brockfest performers) Eva Witney and Betty Ablett on piano in the exhibition room. The 5 easel displays built especially for the photo exhibition will be donated to The Hall afterwards, as a platform for other community groups to tell their stories.
