Harry Potter Coding Camp with MAMA.codes

Local parent-powered coding school MAMA.codes is running some enchanting creative coding & robotics workshops with a Harry Potter theme. Kids aged 5-11 can get involved and gain valuable future-ready digital skills, while having so much fun they won't notice they are learning! Drop off camps take place in Burbage Road on August 2, 3 and September 2, 3. Cost from £25, all experience levels welcome. Ruskin Park's Summer Fete will be returning this year and it is going to be a fun-packed day. Join us for Live Music, Food and Drink, Arts Workshops, Activities, Local Artists Craft stalls, our big favourite The Reptile Rescue, Street Shows from two international performers and of course the Tea and Cake marquee. Dulwich Park Fair

Dulwich park College Road, London

Dulwich Park Fair has been running since 2007 and normally ends the Dulwich Festival but this year has been postponed, to comply with COVID restrictions, to Sunday 5th September 2021. It is a free outdoor, family friendly, event that includes a Fun Fair, Vauxhall City Farm, Punch and Judy, the Magician, interactive performances and a dog show. The stage by the café will feature local musicians, brass bands, choirs and dance acts of all ages. There will be a huge variety of food, craft, drink and charity stalls. The car park will be closed so please come by local transport, walk or cycle.

Open Gardens in aid of Link Age Southwark – 5 & 12 September

Link Age Southwark are delighted to be involved in 2 upcoming Open Garden events hosted by local supporters, in aid of the charity. The beautiful Dulwich gardens will open to the public with all proceeds of tickets and refreshments going towards Link Age Southwark’s work with older people and people living with dementia in the community. Autumn Harvest Fete at the Community Greenhouses

Come to our AUTUMN FETE on Sunday 12th September 12.30pm to 5pm at the Community Greenhouses.  Book your tickets here https://www.brockwellgreenhouses.org.uk/event/harvest-fete/ For our Autumn Harvest Fete this year, we are delighted to welcome back local Morris dancers, the Brixton Tatterjacks.   We are also going to fire up our cob oven and cook up an Autumnal feast for you from our yummy squashes, vegetables and herbs.  Jelena Belgrave's wonderful ferments will be our side dishes. Lunch will be served between 1pm and 3pm.  Buy your lunch ticket below. There will be Games a Plenty for kids to get stuck into too - expect old favourites such as: tug of war, dress the scarecrows, splat the rat, and the human fruit machine. We will do lots of lovely Natural Crafting too.  You can have a go at Leaf Rubbing, making Flower Crowns, and leaf and flower printing 'Hapa Zome style' Get your Face painted too by our lovely arty greenhouse crew. You can be flowery, scarey or a bit of both maybe? We are happy to announce our lineup for the Summer Music Bandstand Concerts. These will be on every other Sunday on the Bandstand from 3-5pm with free entry for all.   SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 12 – THE NEW VENTURE CONCERT BAND The New Venture Concert Band was formed in the summer of 2018 to give musicians an opportunity to play good music in a friendly environment.  They play music from the shows, the classics and original compositions for concert bands. They have raised a substantial amount of money for charity from their concert performances.
