Classical Yoga Philosophy: The Yogasūtra of Patañjali – Yoga Point Brixton

    5 October 2025 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

BOOK HERE Join us for a special philosophy workshop designed for dedicated yoga practitioners and teachers who are eager to deepen their understanding of yoga beyond the mat. Led by renowned yoga scholar Dr. Seth Powell, together we will engage in a close reading and study of one of yoga’s most ancient, important, and mis-understood scriptures. In this workshop, designed for both beginners and long-time students alike, we will focus on the first and second chapters (pāda), which treat the definition of yoga, the nature of the mind, the cause of suffering and its cure: a detailed “eight-limbed” (aṣṭāṅga) system of yogic practices. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the history, theory, and practice of yoga as...
