Ever wanted to try flamenco dancing? Why not join our regular beginners class now running at Brixton House?
Flamenco is a rich and complex art form which encompasses singing, dancing and musical accompaniment. In these classes students get the opportunity to learn the basics of flamenco dance technique including footwork, and hand, arm and body movements. A short choreography to music will be taught to develop an understanding of how the dance accompanies the flamenco singing. All students are assured of individual attention and they will be nurtured and supported to dance their best and most of all enjoy this rich art form.
£17 Drop in and £60 for a 4 week term.

Join author Freya Bromley in a writing workshop. In her book The Tidal Year she explores love, loss and the restorative power of nature. Freya will show us how to use creative writing as a therapeutic tool to support wellbeing and encourage self-expression. Together, we’ll try journaling prompts and free-writing exercises as well as exploring how writing about your surroundings can deepen your connection to the nature around you. This masterclass will be in person at Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses. It’s suitable for all levels and will be a supportive and safe environment.
