Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th December, 11am - 2pm Once again our Festive Family Event will provide a chance to celebrate Christmas without all the hustle and bustle.  Enjoy a stroll around the garden, take part in nature-based crafts and activities, visit Santa in our orchard grotto and enjoy a little panto. Slovakian Gypsy Christmas Concert at Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses

Join us for a festive gig with a twist, as the Bango Duo explore the joyful and vibrant melodies of traditional Gypsy Christmas songs and Slovakian carols with their own arrangements for cello and violin.  The session will be laced with gypsy storytelling and an opportunity to learn a traditional song and Christmas sing-a-long near the end. It is ideal for those with a solid foundation in mat pilates  –  3 months of group class experience or at least ten individual sessions. In intermediate classes, you’ll refine movements quality, enhance your dynamic stability, and build strength as you progress through the more challenging Pilates exercises and choreography – all with support at every step of the way. Brockwell Barracudas Junior Swim Sessions

Following the success of our first six week Junior Barracudas course at Alleyns School, Brockwell Swimmers will be continuing these sessions at 7:30pm to 8:30pm on Mondays from 13th January onwards. This 10-week course for junior members aged 8 to 13 will cost £250 per swimmer and will cover: • How to race over 25m and 50m correctly for a school gala. • Focus on correcting the stroke to maximise speed. • When to breath when racing. • How to do the correct relay hand overs. • How to maximise the potential of the dive. • How to finish quickly. • Correct turns for each stroke. Introduction to yoga Inversions

Not suitable for absolute beginners; you should have a reasonable level of fitness and regular asana practice. BOOK HERE. Nina Thomas will lead this workshop workshop at Yoga Point. It will be a fun introduction and development of basic skills to explore accessing arm balances and make your way upside down safely. Inversions help focus the mind, develop strength and build confidence – providing a space to calm the nervous system and reconnect with a sense of play and joy. Arm balances require the same focus and development of strength, body awareness and form the foundations to access inversions. If you are looking to extend your practice and start incorporating some of the more challenging asana, this is for you. Whether you are just beginning to attempt them, or wish to deepen your current practice, you will be shown the principles and foundations to help you from the ground up. Not suitable for absolute beginners; you should have a reasonable level of fitness and regular asana practice.
