About L'Arche Our Community includes over 30 people with learning disabilities, who we support at home and in our workshops. Alongside them are our faithful community members, volunteers, friends, and neighbours, all of whom play an integral role in fostering a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Additionally, our team of dedicated L’Arche assistants adds further support and care to our core members. We also have a wide-ranging programme of day activities, which is open to people with disabilities living in or outside L’Arche. We work with individuals to develop daily living skills, we make space for creativity and fun and we are passionate about helping people to reach their goals. Gossip, wit and jealousy abound in this merry romp. Can everything be resolved by a bungling neighbourhood watch and one final piece of trickery? Six actors and Open Bar Theatre’s trademark two-storey set will take over Windmill Gardens for this hilarious, fun Shakespearean classic this summer, in full Elizabethan costume and with original songs by their resident composer that you’ll leave singing all summer long, this is Shakespeare for everyone to enjoy, from the aficionado to those who “don’t do Shakespeare”. Bring a picnic or grab a drink from our licenced cafe at Brixton Windmill Centre and enjoy an evening of Shakespeare that is plenty of fun for all!
