Following recent popular outdoor theatre shows in Windmill Gardens, Dot Collective and Open Bar Theatre combine forces and are back with a festive show inside Brixton Windmill Centre (no need to worry about winter weather!)
Written in 1806 by the Brother’s Grimm the tale was originally the first and longest story in a series of three fairy tales entitled The Elves. It follows a failing shoemaker at Christmas time, who one morning awakes to discover a perfect pair of shoes, already made, sitting at his work table. Each morning the same mysterious occurrence takes place, helping him make his fortune. A story of hard work rewarded, the perfect treat for a frosty evening.
Come one, come all, adults grab a glass of wine and a mince pie, bring the family and join us to witness the magic of the Elves, sing along and pull a cracker or two – you might even get a festive card or a chance to hold a puppet!
Suitable for all everyone 4+ | dementia friendly | accessible sensory theatre
Running time: 50 mins
Please note we have limited space for buggies & pushchairs – you may need to leave outside.
Your ticket purchase will support both Friends of Windmill Gardens and Dot Collective (a Dementia charity).
