South London Cares: connecting 65+ residents with young professionals in South London

Look out for South London Cares coming to the Community Stall at Herne Hill Market a week on Sunday. A chance to find out what they do, and perhaps an opportunity to join the network.

We look forward to seeing them there: and if YOU are a not-for-profit or community group who'd like to try out the free community stall which the Forum hosts at the market, we still have spaces available before year end. Email alison@hernehillforum.org.uk to find out more - it's a great way to meet Herne Hill residents and promote what you do.

Armistice Centenary in Herne Hill, Sunday 11th November

There will only ever be one Centenary of the First World War Armistice. On that day, Sunday 11 November 2018, we hope you will join us at Herne Hill's popular market. We are currently in the process of organising a one-minute silence at 11am, to be followed by a short choral concert.

Meanwhile, thanks to our friends at Southeastern Railway who operate Herne Hill station, we are working on the design of information panels for installation in the ticket hall of the Station. There will also be panels at Charter School North Dulwich.

Herne Hill Market – Time Out Love London Award winner

Herne Hill Market has won 2018’s Time Out Love London ‘best shop’ award based on online voting for the best and most popular local businesses in the community. Thanks to all who voted and the local community who support Herne Hill so well.
