Everybody’s welcome to join our Christmas Celebrations at the Parish of Herne Hill

This Sunday 13th the Parish of Herne Hill is gearing up for it's Nativity Services at 9.30am at St Saviour’s, 11.15am at St Paul’s and also online via YouTube.  You are invited to come dressed up at your favourite nativity character.  Booking not required.

Dulwich Village Christmas Stocking 1 December 2019


A FREE Christmas community event Sunday 1st December 2019, 11am - 5pm, Dulwich Village, SE21

 Organised by local businesses, The Dulwich Estate and Southwark Council, the annual celebration features:

Special offers in many of the independent shops; 

Arts and crafts activities for children, 

Independent businesses will be hosting a mystery Christmas Stocking trail - prizes for children,

FREE family entertainment at St Barnabas Parish Hall (a ticket booked through Eventbrite is required), 

Go Zero-Waste with your shopping this Christmas

-        Jarr Market, a zero-waste shop in London, will sell zero-waste Christmas present options as well as recyclable wrapping paper, paper tape and recycled twine

-        Going zero-waste this Christmas will help cut down on the huge problem of waste and plastic pollution. “According to Biffa, the UK creates 30 per cent more waste than usual over the festive period, throwing away more than 277,000 miles of wrapping paper – that’s enough to stretch to the moon! Households will use more than 300,000 tonnes of card and send over 100 million bags of rubbish to landfill.”
