Sign up for St Faith's Summer Play Scheme

Are you looking for a low-cost, fun and stimulating play scheme this summer?

The Summer Play Scheme at St Faith's Community Centre, Red Post Hill, is run in the first two weeks of the summer holiday. It’s incredible value for money and huge fun for children. There are no electronics but there are lots of outdoor games and local trips. The ethos of the play scheme is to introduce children to the local area but for free or low cost. This means visits to community venues such as the Horniman Museum and Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses.

Centre Manager, Xenia, who runs the play scheme, says: ‘My own kids loved it here because there’s such a mixture of activities — and it’s their choice. We also focus on encouraging lasting friendships in the local community. We often get parents asking us if we can run it for longer. They tell us how lovely it is.’

Please ask about our concessionary rates. Children bring their own packed lunch but we provide snacks during the day.

The scheme is for children between the ages of six and 11. The dates are between 23 and 30 July and 30 July to 3 August 2018. It costs just £65 per week and there is a sibling discount. Please email Xenia at or phone 020 7733 7896. You can also pop into the centre to find out more.
