May Fete - Celebrating all things May

On Saturday May 6th between 1pm and 5pm, Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses invite you to come and celebrate the start of May.

There will be Maypole dancing, folk music, cob oven pizzas, home made cakes and biscuits, traditional games and crafts.

Maypole dancing will be on at 2pm and 3.30pm. All are welcome to join in.

There'll be acoustic music on throughout the afternoon scattered throughout the lovely gardens.

No-one will be hungry!  From 1pm to 3pm, we'll be serving up home made pizzas from our cob oven.  And from 3pm there will be teas, cordials, tarts, biscuits and cakes, all home made by volunteers.

And we have a host of traditional games for you to enjoy.  A Human Fruit machine, A Tug of War, Welly Whanging, Splat the Rat and Snail Racing!

For the arty-crafty, there will be the chance to make ribbon wands, flower posies, May Day crowns, Green man masks, flower craft and mini maypoles.

All the above is included for £4 per adult or £2.50 per child (concessions £3 per adult and £1.50 per child.)
