Free club members’ sessions at the Lido. Customised drill sessions from coach Sam to test your technique plus a social meet-up afterwards to swap swim stories. Bring cake and a thermos, or coffee from the café. Book for either the half or the full hour, it’s up to you. Limited numbers to 12 people per half hour or book both if you are keen.

Come and join us at the Herne Hill community tent, every other Sunday at the Herne Hill market. Improve your swimming technique and meet other swimmers at the Brockwell Swimmers club Monday swim sessions, 8pm to 9:15pm at the indoor Alleyns School pool, Townley Rd, Dulwich SE22 8SU. All evenings are led by two qualified instructors teaching a range of skills from inter-mediate to masters. Adults 18+ welcome.

Come along on Tuesday 26 October at 6.30pm for a 7pm start and join us for a fun-filled evening with plenty of brain teaser questions from our favourite Quiz Master Andrew, plus a raffle with great prizes. Festival for Young People

The REACH (Risk, Resilience, Ethnicity, and AdolesCent Mental Health) team at King’s College London. We have been working closely with young people from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds in south London to support mental health in contexts of poverty, racism, and discrimination. Our research shows that 1 in 5 young people in south London experience mental health problems – much higher than the national average of 1 in 10. REACH are bringing young people together to discuss their experiences during the pandemic and, most importantly, what we need to do now to enable young people to thrive. To support this, we are hosting a Young Persons Festival (see poster attached), in collaboration with the Big Kid Foundation, on Wednesday 27th of October at Dexter’s Adventure Playground in Brixton. REACH understands the importance of including young people in conversations surrounding their own futures. In bringing young people together, we’re hoping to amplify their voices and opinions to help shape mental health, education and government policies directly affecting young people. It is only through their thoughts, opinions, and voices, that steps towards positive change are made possible and this one of the purposes of our Festival.
