Volunteer Group Facilitator

Link Age Southwark is a vibrant local charity with an impressive track record of supporting older people to thrive in later life. We currently supportover 600 isolated, older people in the London Borough of Southwark. We recruit and train volunteers to visit older people in their homes, and organise activity groups in supported housing and community centres. We support older people who are lonely – people who live alone without family, who may have been recently bereaved or have mobility issues which stop them leaving the home independently.

Calling all St Faith's neighbours: please give us your views

We'd love your views on St Faith’s Community Centre in Red Post Hill in order to make it an even better place to meet, learn and relax. Our consulation is almost coming to an end and your thoughts will make a big difference to us.

Start 2018 the right way and volunteer with Link Age Southwark

Christmas is just around the corner, bringing with it the New Year and of course your new year’s resolutions. Make yours count this year by volunteering to prevent loneliness and isolation amongst older people in the local community.

Whether you visit someone for a cup of tea once a week, drive an older person to their exercise class or help at one of our activity groups, you will be making a huge difference to the life of an older person in Southwark and your own!
