Drop-off point at St Faith's Red Post Hill for Southwark Foodbank

St Faith's Church and Centre in North Dulwich is now affiliated with Southwark Foodbank as a donation drop-off point taking non-perishable food and toiletries. St Faith's is located at 62 Red Post Hill SE24 9JQ, virtually on the roundabout with Sunray Avenue.

Herne Hill Community Picnic: One month to go!

In one month, Herne Hill will participate in its first Great Get Together.

A community picnic is taking place in Brockwell Park on 23rd June as part of the nationwide Great Get Together.

Are you worried about air pollution in the area?

South London grassroots campaign group ‘Mums for Lungs’ is urging parents concerned by dangerous levels of air pollution in London to respond to a critical consultation being run by Transport for London. Air pollution causes an estimated 9000 deaths in the capital every year, and has been linked to cases of asthma in children and babies.

Sustainable City Award for the Community Greenhouses

Local charity, Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses are the overall winners of this year’s Sustainable City Awards, as well as the winners of the Health and Wellbeing Category. 

The Awards, run by the London Sustainability Exchange and funded by the City of London Corporation recognise organisations in London that demonstrate excellence in sustainable development and best practice in environmental management.
