Parks Events/Field Day Feedback Sessions: 16th & 17th October

Many of you have been asking us about Brockwell Park and Field Day, namely:
- Is there any update on the planned public feedback sessions?
- What is going on with repair work in the park (see the photo above for evidence of broken gates) and the restoration of the grass?

Field Day and Lambeth were both invited by the Forum, as before, to take part in a public meeting which would be an opportunity for local residents to put questions to them.

Saturday at Field Day Reviewed

The Saturday proceedings at Field Day in Brockwell Park kicked off under overcast lunchtime skies, whilst entry to the festival included a very thorough body search and sniffer dogs. However, early arrivals were rewarded with splendid set from North London's Jimothy Lacoste on the Crack Stage, performing his synth hooks and rapped lyrics about living in our favourite city to a knot of enthusiastic fans who clearly knew all the words. An original upcoming artist to watch out for.

Field Day Community Fund

Field Day are inviting applications for the community fund they have set up to benefit local organisations and projects impacted by the event.

The fund will be allocated by an independent panel consisting of a Field Day Director, local ward councillor, Brockwell Park Community Partners representative and Herne Hill Forum representative and will be at the discretion of the festival organisers. Please note all successful applicants will be notified by email by 16th July 2018.

Applications will be judged on the following criteria:
