Herne Hill's very own Speakeasy opens

On Valentine's Day, 14/02/2020, Herne Hill's very own speakeasy will open for business. An evening of jazz, blues and poetry will take place in the Function Room  of The Florence pub on Dulwich Road, hosted by Giovanni Delfino and his jazz trio, with guest artists Lauren Dalrymple and Tanica Psalmist. The event will be an immersive experience, with actors and props adding to the overall effect. You are invited to come in period costume (optional) and will be guaranteed a theatrical evening.

Doors open at 8.00pm and the fun starts at 9.00pm.

Herne Hill magic gets up close and personal

If you love magic and illusion, now’s your chance to get that bit closer to it at Herne Hill’s unique 20-seater theatre. 

On the third Wednesday of every month, the atmospheric theatre, in Half Moon Lane, hosts an evening of magic at the tables. The Get Even Closer show, for adults only, is presented by Barrie Westwell (The Illusioneer) and The illusioneer Team of expert magicians and illusionists. Expect outstanding entertainment, a mixture of magic styles and an escape from the norm.

16 Feet to offer Panto for Schools & Community Venues this Christmas

Ever innovative, Sixteenfeet - producers of theatre productions within Brockwell Park and elsewhere in Lambeth - are offering pop-up panto this Christmas season with a fun & funky reimagining of SNOW WHITE. This is a contemporary pantomime created specifically for primary schools and community venues. If you're a local school or community centre interested in hosting live performance for the fraction of the cost of a group theatre visit between 1st December – 21st December, get in touch.
