Thames Water held a meeting with residents and traders Weds evening (21st) at Herne Hill Baptist Church. Some key points which came out of the meeting included: Half Moon Lane will reopen by early next week not by the 29th as previously announced; focus is now on recovery, loss adjustment and insurance, with more support needed to help traders with insurance claims and interim payments; some shops remain closed with others are being cleared out for drying and refitting - with flood relief teams and loss adjusters still on hand.
