Mummytime pamper events ‘popping up’ near you - just in time for Mother's Day

Your baby is a few months old. You haven’t had more than a few hours sleep at a time since they arrived. You look tired. You are tired. You’re desperate for some rest and relaxation. But how do you get it when you are caring for a baby full time? Anyone who has had children will know this feeling.

Finding out first-hand how difficult it is for new mums to access wellbeing therapies, new mums Galina and Lucy from South London decided to set up Mummytime Ltd – a series of pop up events providing me-time for mums.

Massage at Brockwell Lido

Becca Thackray, who is a fully trained and accredited masseuse, will be at Brockwell Lido on Tuesday afternoons, beginning this Tuesday, January 31st.  A 45 minute massage will cost £35 which is very reasonable but what makes this story special is that Becca is giving her professional services free with all the money going to charity (Probably to St Christopher's Hospice) and Fusion are giving her their therapy room free of charge.  Well worth supporting.  Book and pay online or at Lido reception.

Shiatsu-at-The Lido, poolside

Karen Livesey (pictured) and Seher Khan-Brown are offering poolside shiatsu under a gazebo at the Lido most days this summer, especially when it's sunny. Prices start at £10 for a 15 min session. Turn up or check out Karen's website: http://www.karenliveseyshiatsu.co.uk/ ... also Seher at: http://www.skbshiatsu.com/
