The battle of Herne Place gets a result

Great news today..The 55ft x 55ft, 18ft high  "temporay structure" industrial storage structure made of scaffolding that has blighted residents enjoyment to gardens and homes for years  41-43 Herne Place London SE24 0EN is DOWN..........

 

"Railton Road residents have sunlight and a sky to gardens" said Head of building control Lambeth Kevin Gathercole.

 

No temporay structure notice will be issued again.

 

12 residents all objected to the continued use of this land for scaffold storage. Despite that compamy Rangescope were given planning with relaxed environmnetal restrictions that they could not keep to.

 

Paul Wilford of planning Lambeth served them with a Breach of Conditions Notice

 

 

The Herne Place debacle continues

Loca residents are having to put up with severe problems with lorries and pollution in their street. It has been affecting school children at St Judes as well. One comment from Lambeth went along the lines of "well the children shouldn't be in the road anyway".
