Dulwich College GE Moore Lecture: ‘Dulwich in WW2: The Japanese connection and Enigma’

BBC News Correspondent Nick Higham will present a lecture on ‘Dulwich in WW2: The Japanese connection and Enigma’ on March 6th. Higham looks at the role of “the Course Boys” who assisted HM Government. Tix £10, 6.30-7pm drinks reception in the James Caird Hall with a working Enigma machine demo followed by the lecture from 7-8.30pm.

The School of Hard Knocks, a charity supporting disadvantaged young men through sports such as rugby and featured on Sky Sports for the last 5 years, are coming to play a Dulwich team to raise funds for Demelza Children’s Hospice. Former and current pupils and staff from the College, as well as members of the Old Alleynians Rugby Club are playing for Dulwich, while ex-England internationals, Andy Gomarsall and Tim Stimpson are among the rugby stars playing with the team from the School of Hard Knocks, as well as Jonny Barrett, Darren Malloy and players from the Saracens Academy.
