The Friends` Musick chamber choir perform a variety of songs ranging from a 12th century plainsong composed by a nun, to Dame Ethel Smyth`s The March of the Women (words by Emmeline Pankhurst); also including 16th century Italian madrigals, Epitaph on Henry Purcell (18th cent.), a 19th century setting of Shakespeare`s  Tell Me Where is Fancy Bred? and songs by Clara Schumann, plus traditional favourites such as Annie Lawrie & Soldier`s Farewell.

Dulwich Opera Company is crowdfunding!

Dulwich Opera Company aims to raise £3,500 to fund our brand new, touring production of Bizet's Carmen. This production will be our first touring opera, and features a cast of young professional singers. We are delighted to reunite the creative team behind our production of Così fan tutte, director Ptolemy Christie, and designer, Leah Sams. The final performance will be on Tuesday 4th July in the Oak Building at Herne Hill School.

Mozart’s ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ comes to King's

Dulwich Opera Company present a weekend of concerts of Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro) at King's College Hospital in aid of the Kings Charity

Dulwich Opera Company are bringing opera's classic tale to King's on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th January. This young and vibrant company will be performing in St. Luke’s Chapel as the culmination of a 4-day workshop where young professional singers will be coached through every aspect of the music and their roles.

Herne Hill Festival needs you!

The Herne Hill Music Festival will take place for the 2nd time in October, and there is an exciting programme of performances under development - details on the web site. Same range of music as last year - jazz, classical, and lighter music.


BUT, we need a Committee to run the event. There are just 3 of us at the moment, which is not enough.
