Volunteer to help make packs for parents in need

Could you help a local charity sort and clean donated clothes for families and new parents who are struggling?

Maybe you, and a couple of friends could spare a few hours on Sunday 16th September between 2pm and 5pm to help them put together clothing packs?

St Michael's Fellowship works with young parents in Lambeth who are disproportionately affected by poverty, domestic abuse and mental health issues. It also supports some of the most vulnerable families in the south east and sometimes from further afield at its residential assessment centres based in South London.

They receive many donations of nearly new and good quality clothes to pass onto the families they work with but need some help to get on top of a recent surge in donations. They are asking for volunteers with an hour or so to spare to come and help them sort the clothes and also for volunteers willing to take some bundles home to wash.

They have also planned another session to pack clothes on Tuesday 25th September 7pm-8.30pm
