PizzaExpress Herne Hill back in business after the floods

PizzaExpress Herne Hill is all set to be back in business following the summer flooding.

The super new-look restaurant launches on Friday, 15 November, after an open evening the previous night for invited guests.

Each PizzaExpress restaurant is individually designed – with the interior of the one at Herne Hill paying tribute with pictures of the near-by iconic velodrome.

Manager Vitor Alcobia said: “We are really looking forward to being back again at Herne Hill after the devastation of the flooding. The restaurant looks superb and we hope everyone will enjoy the new surroundings. And the timing is just right for Christmas party bookings.”

PizzaExpress serves delicious, fresh, handmade pizza including its Leggera range of skinny pizzas which are all just 500 calories or less.  PizzaExpress has also introduced a gluten-free range. Its Piccolo menu for younger pizza lovers is full of tasty choices including ‘Create Your Own’ pizza.

And parents can book a Kids’ Pizza Making Party.  Children from the age of four to 11 will be transformed into mini-pizzaiolas, getting to stretch and toss their own pizza base, before topping it with their favourite ingredients. Adult Pizza Making Parties can be arranged on request.
