  • Are there enough local jobs?
  • Would you like more green space?
  • Are local independent businesses able to thrive?

Find out what the prospective parliamentary candidates have to say in answer to your questions about Herne Hill and what they would do for the area if elected by joining the Herne Hill Forum as we jointly  host with Brixton Blog a hustings with all the candidates on Thursday 16 April at 7:00pm at St Paul’s Church Hall, Herne Hill, SE24 9LY.  

The candidates include:

Rathy Alagaratnam - UK Independence Party (UKIP)
James Barber - Liberal Democrats
Helen Hayes - Labour Party
Resham Kotecha - Conservative Party
Steve Nally - Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition
Rashid Nix - Green Party

Herne Hill Forum AGM

Everyone is welcome!  Please get involved and learn more about the plans and activities of the Herne Hill Forum.

The beginning of the hustings evening will see the AGM of the Herne Hill Forum. There will be a quick update on the finances from the Treasurer and the Chairs report. 

There will also be elections for the officers and committee of the Forum. We are welcoming nominations for the election to the position of Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and committee members. If you want to get involved, work with other volunteers in the area, help create a better place to live and work then Herne Hill and the Forum really needs you.

If you wish to stand for any of the positions then please send in your details along with the name of a proposer and seconder to info@hernehillforum.org.uk before the evening of the AGM.
