Mighty Hoopla and Cross the Tracks 2019 Community Fund

Cross the Tracks and the Mighty Hoopla have announced their Community Fund for 2019.

The fund consists of guestlist contributions paid by all attendees on the events guest list, and any profit from the eco glitter sales from the event days.

The fund is open to local individuals, charities, organisations and local groups that are connected to Brockwell Park and its local area and provide activity or projects linked with both the park and the surrounding area.

The aim of the fund is to benefit Brockwell Park and close surrounding areas that are directly impacted by Mighty Hoopla & Cross The Tracks.

Applications will be judged on the following criteria:

• The benefits directly to Brockwell Park

• The benefits to wider community organisations and projects that are directly impacted during Mighty Hoopla and Cross The Tracks.

• The audience it benefits within Brockwell Park and wider area.

• The legacy the activity or project will create for Brockwell Park and the wider impacted area.

Cross the Tracks and the Mighty Hoopla have confirmed that once judging has happened, successful applicants will be notified by mid-September 2019 and money will be transferred by 9th October. It is hoped that this will reassure local groups who have been frustrated in the delay in delivering some of the funds from the 2018 events.

Full details of the fund is included in the 'Community Fund Outline' doc here
