Halloween Free for ALL - Tuesday 31st October 5-7pm, Station Square

A Howling Haunted Halloween Free for All in Herne Hill

To keep this children’s community party free and inclusive we are, for the first time, asking for your generous contribution.

For the past five years, the Herne Hill Forum has put on a free-to-all ghoulish party in Station Square for all the Neighbourhood’s junior gremlins, witches, wizards and Buzz Lightyears. It's now one of the only free events in the locality. We really want to make it six in a row with a street party on Tuesday 31st October, 5pm-7pm.

Unfortunately, our funding is significantly down following Lambeth’s re-assignment of the Herne Hill Market licence to a private operator. To make it as good as last year (around 600 kids attended) and to put on a party that all the youngsters of the community can enjoy and remember, we now need your help and donations to raise £2,000. The Herne Hill Forum will contribute £500 from its Mary Portas Fund Award.

What you could do:

• Make a personal donation here or at the Community Tent at the Sunday Market in Station Square

• Be a business sponsor and make your donation here. We’ll make sure everyone knows about your community spirit

• Volunteer a skill or your time (face painting, mask making, run a stall/activity, clean up) [contact Charlotte@hernehillforum.org.uk]

• Fundraise for the Party at the Community Tent with your RA or Church [contact Charlotte@hernehillforum.org.uk]

Herne Hillians, we NEED you to make Halloween in Herne Hill as good as it ever was or even better.
