GET INTO SCIENCE with Okido at Station Hall

Station Hall is getting into British Science Week with a day of workshops, aimed at 3-7 year olds, on Sunday March 10th, from 1-4pm, hosted by Okido magazine.

OKIDO Magazine is an independent arts and science magazine for young children and their families. It was started by parents on a kitchen table in Brixton in 2007, designed to fire up imagination and understanding of art and science. Founders, scientist Dr Sophie Dauvois (PhD BSc PG Dip.) and artist Rachel Ortas are passionate about engaging young kids in the scientific world around them through play, art and fun.

As it is British Science week, the theme is journeys. The team will be hosting activities such as:

- make your own time capsule

- journey maps

- build your own board game with OjO

- build your own transportation vehicle and then test it

- The journey of water

- Marble run

Station Hall is accessible by fire escape, but there are baby change facilities and toilets on site.
