First ever Local Entrepreneur Forum comes to Lambeth on 2nd June

Cheaper tickets released! Only £9.99 for supper + evening session, 20% off in B£s

Everyone has a say and a part to play in the kind of economy they want to see in the world and Lambeth.

That's why Transition Town Brixton is curating the very first Lambeth Local Entrepreneur Forum where social enterprises will connect with their community and pitch to everyone - because everyone can be an investor! - for financial and in-kind support.

The event will connect five forward-thinking social enterprises: The Kitchen Table ProjectsThe Grain GrocerThe Library of ThingsSpiral, and Remakery with a community of investors: of money, but also time, resources, moral support, Facebook likes, and anything else you have on offer!

You will also hear from Rob Hopkins, the founder of the global Transition Town movement, and Lambeth’s Entrepreneur-in-residence, Colin Crooks of Tree Shepherd, and have a chance to participate in two great workshops: from Oana Neumayer, director of a social enterprise crowdfunder, and Mark Simmonds, formerly of Coops UK, about start-up funding.

It’ll be a great opportunity to meet members of your local community who are also interested in making local economy work – entrepreneurs, investors, and people who want to see a better future.

Included in the ticket price is a delicious seasonal and locally-sourced supper from local traders, and you’ll be able to try a special local brew made by Brixton Brewery specifically for the event with Brockwell Park foraged elderflower!
