Fashion Revolution week - Ethical Fashion & Lifestyle Pop Up.
I am Chloe and some of you may know me from the Herne Hill Sunday market where I have my www.stripeysquirrel.com stall selling my handmade, upcycled childrens clothes.
I just wanted to let everyone know about a very exciting Pop Up Shop that I am involved in that is taking place in Canary Wharf until the 6th May, to coincide with Fashion Revolution week.
Fashion Revolution Week is a global campaign taking place in April and which falls on the anniversay of the Bangladesh Rana Plaza Factory collapse which killed 1138 people on the 24th April 2013. During Fashion Revolution week, brands and producers are encouraved to respond with the hashtag #imadeyourclothes and to demonstrate transparency in their supply chain.
To mark this week, Kitty Ferreira & Friends, (a group of independent, responsible fashion & lifestyle brands focusing on organic, fairtrade, upcycled, zero-waste, pre-loved, vegan, cruelty-free, toxic-free and artisanal products) are presenting a carefully curated Ethical Fashion and Lifestyle pop-up in Canary Wharf.
There will also be swishing parties, an instore seamstress to alter your exsiting garments, workshops and panel discussions.
If you work anywhere around the area and have a moment free, you could do much worse than to come along and have a look!
You can register for free here and to find out more about the events taking place and the brands involved.
