Fantastic garden opening in Court Lane this Sunday

Are you thinking about how you’re going to enjoy the (hopefully) lovely weather this Sunday afternoon?

What better way than to visit 122 Court Lane, SE21, to enjoy the beautiful, mature garden, generously opened by owners Charles and Jean Cary-Elwes in aid of the National Garden Scheme (entry is £5 for adults, children free)?

With unusual and marginally tender shrubs thriving in the hands of a keen propagator, come and see agapanthus, oleander and a splendid clerodendron. This family garden has a sandpit, a hammock and a children’s trail, a super wormery with demonstrations, a hardworking greenhouse and a great plant sale.

With homemade tea and cakes by the legendary Neil Ellis and Steven Henden, and a jazz band to enjoy them to, it’s going to be a lovely way to spend a June afternoon!
