Carnegie Community Trust seek trustee treasurer

Carnegie Community Trust are looking for a trustee treasurer.  Their longstanding treasurer is retiring and they need a trustee to replace her.  She will stay on and help the new trustee take over her role. The role involves financial management and oversight.  

The Carnegie Community Trust is creating a community hub in the Carnegie Library in Herne Hill.   Lambeth is granting them a lease to use the building for the benefit of the community.  They need to raise funds in order to support the hub. They currently rent out rooms to a number of organisations at a community rate. It is also available to hire for private events and the Enterprise Centre has desks for hire.  The Trust are in the process of raising funds for a community café to be run by a charity, Southside Rehabilitation.
