The Cambria choir moves to the Prince Regent - join us!

For almost 8 years Herne Hill's community choir, the Cambria Choir has been rehearsing every Monday night at the pub of the same name near Loughborough Junction.

But from September, we are very excited to say, we will be rehearsing in the more central location of the Prince Regent.

Our rehearsals for next term begin on Monday the 2nd September, and on both the 2nd and the 9th September we will be accepting new members. There is no audition, we don't even check your voice! So if you have ever fancied joining us but maybe the Cambria was too much of a treck for you, this might be the term for you.

Just show up at 7.15 in the function room of the Prince Regent, and say hi. We'll have a quick chat with you and then you can buy a drink downstairs before having a sing.

We are a 50 strong, singing a mixture of genres in four part harmony; mainly arranged by co-leaders Sarah Fisher and Lucy Harrower, who have co-directed the choir since it started. We will be singing 3 concerts in the pub itself throughout the year, plus other concerts and local appearances to be announced.

We are a friendly bunch of interesting people from all walks of life. There is no need to read music.
