Brockwell Park Events: Drop-in Consultation

After Field Day decided not to return to Brockwell Park in 2019, the other one-day event, Mighty Hoopla, proposes to return on Saturday 8th June, with a 19,999 capacity, and a new one-day event, Cross the Tracks, the following day (15,000 capacity). 

Mighty Hoopla and Cross The Tracks are hosting a drop-in session on Wednesday 27th February at the Half Moon Pub, Half Moon Lane, with both daytime and evening times available. Their full press release is enclosed below:


Mighty Hoopla – Saturday 8th June

Mighty Hoopla is an 18+ LGBT-friendly pop music festival, programmed with a mix of diverse legendary artists from around the world, new live artists and the finest of London’s LGBT night culture. The event offers a mix of 80s, 90s and current artists.

The festival has taken place previously in Victoria Park in 2017 and in Brockwell Park in 2018 alongside Field Day festival. In 2019 Field Day festival will move to another location; however Mighty Hoopla will continue to take place in Brockwell Park, following the success of the 2018 event.

Cross The Tracks – Sunday 9th June

Cross The Tracks is a new family-friendly music festival open to all ages, celebrating the world of funk, soul and jazz with a mix of international artists and local homegrown talent. The Cross The Tracks team have been hosting a range of diverse events in and around London for many years and have a wealth of experience in producing festivals and events of this kind.



Mighty Hoopla and Cross The Tracks are committed to making sure that the event management plans minimise disruption to park users and the local community. The organisers are also actively looking to engage residents with the event and create opportunities for performers, traders and workers from the local area to be involved, as well as ongoing investment into a local community fund. 

The event organisers would like to invite residents of the local community to an open information sessions, giving residents and businesses the opportunity to discuss the planning of the event, to share information and to discuss any queries.

The sessions will take place as below:

Time:  Between 12:00 – 15:00 and 17:00 – 20:00
