Brockwell Park Events 2020: Drop-in Information Sessions
Herne Hill Forum has received details on the drop-in sessions being run by the organisers of the proposed events for Brockwell Park in 2020.
The dates and capacities of the proposed events are below:
WIDE AWAKE – Friday 5th June (20,000 cap, maximum)
MIGHTY HOOPLA – Saturday 6th June (25,000 cap, maximum)
CROSS THE TRACKS – Sunday 7th June (20,000 cap, maximum)
The information sessions will take place at the Half Moon Pub on Wednesday 13th November, with both daytime and evening sessions.
Time: Between 12:00 – 15:00 and 17:00 – 20:00
Location: The Half Moon, 10 Half Moon Ln, Herne Hill, London SE24 9HU (we will be in the function room at the back of the garden.)

The event organisers would like to invite residents of the local community to an open information session, giving residents and businesses the opportunity to discuss the planning of the 2020 event, to share information and to discuss any queries.
Mighty Hoopla and Cross the Tracks return to Brockwell Park in June 2020 alongside a new event called Wide Awake.
Wide Awake – Friday 5th June
Wide Awake is a new festival to take place in Brockwell Park focusing on new music from genres across the globe. The event also has a focus on positive change including an area to discuss the environment via talks, films, music, food and drink
Mighty Hoopla – Saturday 6th June
Mighty Hoopla is an 18+ LGBTQ+-friendly pop music festival, programmed with a mix of diverse legendary artists from around the world, new live artists and the finest of London’s LGBT night culture. The event offers a mix of 80s, 90s and current artists. 2020 will be the third year the event takes place in Brockwell Park.
Cross the Tracks – Sunday 7th June 20
Cross The Tracks is a family-friendly music festival open to all ages, celebrating the world of funk, soul and jazz with a mix of international artists and local homegrown talent. The Cross The Tracks team have been hosting a range of diverse events in and around London for many years and have a wealth of experience in producing festivals and events of this kind.
Wide Awake, Mighty Hoopla and Cross The Tracks are committed to making sure that the event management plans minimise disruption to park users and the local community. The organisers are also actively looking to engage residents with the event and create opportunities for performers, traders and workers from the local area to be involved, as well as ongoing investment into a local community fund.
