2016 4ALL Community Autumn Fair a success!
4ALL is a community development organisation working to make life better for people in West Dulwich. It's based at All Saints Church in West Dulwich and gears its activities towards youth and seniors.
4ALL is testament to how far All Saints has come since a terrible fire there in 2000. http://bit.ly/2dnIxkf.
Projects with young people include 'Between the Tracks' and 'Between the Tracks Plus', two after school clubs for 8-16 year olds. Projects with older people include the Effective Exercise class and SING4ALL, a 60+ choir. Two very popular annual community events are the Autumn Fair and CAROLS4ALL, a drop-in carol-singing event (this year on Dec 17th between 11-1).
Last Saturday 4ALL hosted the Community Autumn Fair, which was a great success. There was loads on outside from 2-5pm, including Blue Skies jazz, bike repair from Dr Bike, apple bobbing, a fire engine, stalls and a BBQ. Inside there were cakes and coffee for sale, live music and lots more stalls, including charity stalls, local organisations and craft workers - even a massage studio!

Local landscape photographer Max Rush's stall was nearby. Max often sets up in Herne Hill Market as well. http://www.maxarush.com
MP for Dulwich and West Norwood Helen Hayes spoke before a set by the Rosendale School Steel Pans band. http://www.rosendale.cc/school-life/music/
There was further music from The Elmgreen School, St Martin-in-the-Fields High School, as well as from SING4ALL directed from behind her piano by Ruth Holton, who is also the organist of All Saints West Dulwich. You can watch a fragment of Ruth with SING4ALL performing the classic 'Autumn Leaves' at: https://vimeo.com/183753063. Next month Ruth directs the Herne Hill Music Festival's Choral Evensong featuring the choirs of St Paul’s Herne Hill and All Saints West Dulwich, on Sun. 9th Oct at 6:30pm in St Paul's Church SE24 9LY with Alan Littell on organ. The service will include music by Stanford, Redford and Bell. http://bit.ly/2cL3hAG
The day was capped by the 4ALL raffle draw led by vicar David Stephenson -- with a little help from Ruth Holton!
