Nails in tyres

Over the past few months both my neighbour and I have had to deal with nails sticking in our tyres and I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else in HH. Given the angle the nails were found at it doesn't look they got there by accident, so I'm suspecting foul play but really don't like thinking the worst of people. There is a skip nearby but there is only rubble being left there so the nails are definitely not coming from that.

This has led to me being stuck on a industrial estate at 8am in the morning with two toddlers in the back of car while trying to change a flat tyre. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else - I'm going to have to start checking around my tyres for nails before I go anywhere.

[/quote] They were more likely'screw nails' the bigger heads cause them to turn upwards and into a tyre. Bad houskeeping by chippies is usually the cause, rarely vindictive.
