Where Words Meet Music

This is a creative course exploring the relationship between words and music. Through workshops and structured writing activities we will look at what poems and lyrics can learn from each other. The programme is curated and constructed by composer and vocalist Ben See. It will also feature 4 guest tutors who will share their various expertise and open new doors.

This course is open to all, whether you’re a poet looking to explore lyricism, a songwriter keen to extend the range of your lyrics, or a composer interested in setting text. This is an opportunity to explore new ground and play with different approaches in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.
