Scaravelli inspired yoga

Primary tabs

Scaravelli Inspired Yoga is a practice inspired by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli, an Italian yoga teacher who pioneered the idea of effortless yoga. It focuses on developing core strength, releasing tension and creating length in the spine. The classes are taught using a mix of holding and fluid movements with intelligent alignment directed towards listening to and responding to the body.

Each class is carefully sequenced to enable the cultivation of softness as well as strength, and is suitable for complete beginners as well as experienced yogis.

This type of yoga can bring space and lightness to the body without the often forceful approach of other styles.
The first class is on 21st March . Class costs: £10 or 5 classes for £40.

Booking online preferred however, drop in welcome too.

A bit about me:

"Falling in love with yoga around 10 years ago, I soon began to understand the significant role the body plays in the relationship between ourselves and the world around us.
After exploring a variety of styles, through my training (I trained for two years at Triyoga, London) and through a deeper understanding of yoga, I was guided to a practice where I could slowdown and work with (not against) the body. In doing this, I was able to find the space and freedom I was longing for.
Finding this physical space has in turn helped me to find space in other areas of my life, and cultivate a deeper relationship and awareness of myself as a whole person."
