Wheels for Wellbeing is a south London charity helping people to enjoy cycling regardless of disability, health condition or age

 

We run drop-in inclusive cycling sessions at Herne Hill Veldrome throughout the year.

We aim to provide a friendly, off-road environment for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the thrill of cycling.

We have cycles for all levels of mobility and balance, including:

  • tricycles
  • tandems
  • side-by-side cycles
  • recumbents
  • handcycles
  • two and four-wheel cycles
  • wheelchair bikes (no transfer needed

Cost per session

  • £5.00 per session

  • Additional people: £5 each

  • Groups: £10 for 1 disabled cyclist + up to 3 friends/relatives

  • Free: one supporter, carer or relative

Keeping updated
On rare occasions we cancel sessions if other events are happening at the arena.

We run sessions in all weathers unless it is too severe. You can check by calling our team on the day from 15 minutes before the session starts: 07578 746 448 (we cannot respond to voice
messages).
