'A Conversation Starter around Loss, Grief, and Bereavement'

Primary tabs

The Cicely Saunders Institute and the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at King’s College London are running an exciting free public engagement event on loss, grief and bereavement this Thursday evening. We are all affected by loss, grief, and bereavement, but as a society we rarely talk about this shared experience.

This event is part of Dying Matters week 2018 and will take place at Greenwood Theatre, 55 Weston Street, London SE1 3RA

Baroness Ilora Finlay (professor of palliative medicine, cross-bench member of the House of Lords) will introduce a theatre performance of “Sisters, Seagulls and Send Offs” by Haylo Theatre Company, and this will be followed by a panel discussion which aims to start a conversation about these topics with our local community..

This is a free event, but registration at https://conversationstarter2018.eventbrite.co.uk is essential as tickets are limited.
