Common Lands Exhibition
Common Lands is an exciting new exhibition from illustrators Maggie Li and Frann Preston-Gannon opening on the 15th February at 198 Contemporary Arts and Learning. The exhibition will explore themes of biodiversity, habitat, destruction and migration, drawing parallels between the struggles in nature and in human societies.
Ideal for families, this exhibition looks both at the negative – the effects of sharing a planet whose natural spaces are diminishing faster than ever, and the positive – an overall celebration of the wonder of nature and how all living beings may live together more harmoniously.
There will be free children's events running twice daily to help engage children in the art of illustration. These will be at 11am-12pm & 2pm-3pm. There are run on a first come-first served basis.
Throughout the show there will be signed books and prints on sale.
