Any Recommendations for nurseries and childminders

Hi All,

We have recently moved to Herne Hill. We are desparately looking for nursery or childminder for our son. We would like to start from mid october. By then he would be 7 months old. Can you guys please recommend any good nurseries? Because most of the nurseries have a waiting list. So any pointers?

I’m also looking into nurseries in the area. Does anyone have any top recommendations?

many thanks

We've been very happy with

We've been very happy with Ruskin House School (a nursery, despite its name) at 74 Herne Hill.  My son had a fabulous time, he learned lots without being forced or pushed, he made many friends and I found the staff to be unfailingly kind and warm.  There is good outside space with a mud kitchen, a pond (completely safe!), and a garden where the children have been growing tomatoes.  It's a really nice place.

Are you still looking for a nanny/ babysitter?

Happy to help.

My name is Margaret. I am fully qualified teacher working in Tulse Hill. I hold updated DBS. My daughter is at Uni so I am fully available for babysitting- after school, evening/overnight, weekends. I am fair but firm. Very patient and calm, with excellent references. At the moment I work for 2 families from Rosemead Prep school - twice per month amd have plenty of time. I am not the type of nanny who is glued to her phone. During every session I do a short language lesson- Spanish, French or Italian and play different creative games. My mob phone is 07925 201133. Please feel free to contact me.
