A member of the family settled in the area by Herne Hill Welcomes Refugees will give an opening speech and talk about her experiences arriving in the UK, followed by a dramatic performance 'The Journey' by the ESOL students and singing.

Herne Hill Velodrome, one of the oldest cycling tracks in the world, will have multiple World and Olympic champion Sir Bradley Wiggins CBE participating in a Q&A at the inaugural Big Velofete fundraising event this Saturday, 15th June. The Big Velofete is a new fundraising event for the Velodrome, taking place across the 15th & 16th of June.

Herne Hill's much-loved picture framing shop, Brockwell Art Services, are celebrating 40 years in business - and shop owner Jim Davidson is celebrating this milestone by cycling from London to Amsterdam to raise money for St Christopher's Hospice.
