DULWICH VILLAGE CHRISTMAS STOCKING
A FREE Christmas community event Sunday 1st December 2019, 11am - 5pm, Dulwich Village, SE21
Organised by local businesses, The Dulwich Estate and Southwark Council, the annual celebration features:
Special offers in many of the independent shops;
Arts and crafts activities for children,
Sharp Works on Station Square are pleased to announce they are becoming a flagship store for Rowan yarn, and to celebrate they are having a launch event on 24th October, from 6-8pm. There will be a prize draw, drinks and nibbles, and a £5 voucher for all attendees redeemable against any purchase in store for the next 5 months.
On 9th October, a very special event at the Society for the Protection of Unwanted Objects on Dulwich Road.
A site-specific exhibition by Lucy Malone: an exploration of the junk shop, the role it plays in peoples lives, and the objects within. Includes a short immersive experience, listening to curated oral history pieces collected during the research.
On the first weekend of October artists and makers across the borough of Lambeth will be opening their studio, work spaces and homes to the public. Doors will be open 5th and 6th October from 10am to 6pm both days (check web site for dates and times of private views).
