A bee colony has established a hive beneath the coal hole cover outside my front door. Obviously I am glad they are thriving, but also can't really have them in such close proximity as if anyone got stung (as a friend has been) and then had a reaction it would be terrible ! Capitalbee in Brockley says they can take them away for a fee but I don't really have a 100 quid to spare for that.
Any ideas / suggestions / anyone know of any apiarists who might want to liberate these inner city buzzy bees ? I am going to check in with Brockwel Community Gardens later, I know they have hives there.
Better buzz off then !
